Rompers + Off the Shoulder = Nicole Williams.
If you haven’t noticed, I’ve really bought into the off the shoulder look the last year. When I was a toddler, I would purposely pull my necklines off of any tank or t-shirt to achieve this look. Evidence below I’ve been obsessed with this look since ’92. Fashion, and my life, so cyclical! lol
Obviously, flash forward to now, I’m taking full advantage of the trend.
Whether it’s traveling on a weekend trip, Sunday brunch, or grabbing dinner on these hot and humid nights coming up – this romper is 100% an outfit I will live in this summer.
…Aside from my signature shorts and baseball cap, of course. 😉
Styling this piece with a bright Kate Spade bag makes for the perfect weekend look. Super bummed this style discontinued colors, but this blush bag is the updated closest alternative if you want a pop of color – or this crossbody version if you’re looking for a blue hue.
As for jewelry, I’m big on necklaces, but since this off-shoulder number doesn’t leave much to the imagination around the collar bone, I paired it with a really on-trend wrap choker, and not much else. I was able to find this one at Aldo around holiday time (it was a very obsessive pursuit – it was sold out in 3 mall locations in South Florida!) but it has since sold out completely. 🙁 However, rest-assured this one is another close version if cognac leather is also your go-to.
If rompers are in your lineup for May, let me know in the comments! xo
